Panda Nail Art

Hello everybun!
Though I haven't had any much of nail art posted last week, I was working super hard on nail related things! I made over 100 mini bottles of polish, updated and quality checked all my inventory and made tons of 3 and 5 mini polish grab bags. It's all for my upcoming Craft Show. I'll be sure to post plenty of pictures and post the nails that I'll be wearing that day.
Accept these Panda nails as a trade off for all of the shop work I've been doing!

I used a dotting tool for everything besides the ring finger panda. I used my Bissu white which is unnamed and the black pictures, which is a black from Hot Topic. Then I topped it all off with a coat of Seche Vite.

I hope to see you all Wednesday, but if I don't, know that I'm not intentionally ignoring you all! The craft show is the 5th and I'm getting all of my last minute polish things done.

Thanks for stopping by!

Fun with Floral

Happy, Happy Friday everyone!
It's been nice being around the blog this week, and I have more nail art for you today!
I've been having fun with floral this week and when stumped for an idea of nail art, I thought why not keep on with the trend?

My favorite nails are my pointer and ring. I love the way the branchy things look!
As you can see I used Maybelline - Audacious Asphalt as my base, and acrylic paint for the rest.
Have a flowery and fun Friday!

Sing For Me by Yellowcard

Hey everyone!
Today..well..technically it will be yesterday by the time this is posted, was/is Mani Monday Challenge by Lynda. Today's theme was Inspired by a Love Song. I couldn't think of a love song so I asked Mr.LL and he recommended this song by Yellowcard. And I came up with this :

I couldn't find my white migi nail art pen so I did this all by hand with a tiny brush and I'm quite happy with how it came out! The background is inspired by the  Album:

I loved this theme and can't wait for next Monday's challenge!

Superbowl Nail Art Before and After

Hey everyone!
I'm sure by now you're either all enjoying the super bowl OR completely ignoring all of the sporty references to this ball and foot game that you're completely indifferent too.
I am currently with family though, and of course I'm watching the game. If you recall one of my first posts was about the super bowl and I did some super bowl nails. I decided for this years SB I'd recreate the look I did last year, and oh dear have my nail art skills improved!

As you can see in this little comparison pic, I've learned tons about nail art in this past year.
I don't much care who wins and who loses, it was just fun to see how far I've come in the nail art world.

I'll have a bloggiversary post for you all tomorrow, but for now, Happy Superbowl!

Rambles of a Polish Addict Guest Post #2

Hi y'all! I'm Katherine from over at Rambles of a Polish Addict and Leesha asked me recently if I could do a guest post for her while she was away on vacation, and I came up with this fun dream catch nail art for you. Leesha reached out to me recently when my bunny passed away (sad face) and sent me a custom polish in Foofy's honor, which I've included in this mani as well.

For this look I used Sinful Colors Hazard as the base color. And two coats of the polish Leesha sent me on the ring finger for an accent. Just two coats and the glitter was nearly fully overing the base color, it's a total glitter bomb! Packed sooo full with all that glitter and it all looks so pretty on the nail, I love it.

For the rest of the details I did them all with acrylic paints in various colors and a tiny little detail nail art brush. It took me a while to think of something when Leesha asked if I'd like to do a guest post, of course I said yes right away, but then thinking of what to do.. that was harder. But then I thought of something I've been wanting to do for a while and never could find a reason to. And I also wanted to be sure it would be something different than what's been on my own blog lately, and since I've never done dream catchers and have been wanting to, it was perfect!

So I hope you all enjoy themeven if they were more bright and summery than necessary for these winter months.

If you'd like to see more of Katherines beautiful nail arts be sure to check out her blog

ColorMeSoCrazy Guest Post #1

Well here I am again. In Pennsylvania while lucky Leesha gets to go from cold Minnesota to nice, beautiful, warm Mexico. Lucky duck!! So, for my annual "I'm insanely jealous of Leesha and all I can do is whine about it" post I have decided to celebrate Mexico. I have a Mexican themed color homage as well as two inspired by Mexican art designs on my own blog ColorMeSoCrazy. Be sure to check it out.

I am so excited to do this and be able to post again for Leesha. She has been a great blogger friend and an excellent polish maker!! I wish her great fun and warm weather while she is in Mexico!

For this design, I used red, green and white- the colors of Mexico. I used stamping designs that remind me of the art and designs of Mexico. I have always enjoyed the skills of artists that create sugar skulls especially those that do them on nails! Such a small canvas. Well, I couldn't do that! haha. I just did the patterns that I gathered in painting of sugar skulls and applied them to my design.

So, here's to Leesha have a fantastic time in Mexico and me sitting here in Pennsylvania wishing I was on the beach!!

Colors Used:
NYC- High Line Green
Sinful Colors- Ruby Ruby
Sinful Colors- Snow Me White
Wet n' Wild- Ebony Hates Chris

Pokebawls

Yezzuh!
Hello everyone! Yes I am back today!

Unfortunately, I'm writing this post ahead of time because I know I'm going to be wayyy too tired to get a post up today.

It is of course a quick post because this has been sitting in my unposted folder for a while.

My cousin Tiana did some Pokeball nails on my cousin Minka and they turned out soooo cute!

Look at her tiny little hands!
She's going to be in 5th grade this year and much surpasses the smartness of the rest of her cousins and brother.

Enjoy the Bawls and have a bunderful day!
p.s. I hope to be back next week!

Guest Post #1 - ColorMeSoCrazy

So, I have recently met Leesha through a great opportunity to review some of her new polishes. Many of you may have seen my review here. If not, be sure to check it out as they are some really cool looking polishes.  I think the whole concept behind her shop and nail polish line is so creative and meaningful. Anyway, some of you may also know that she is a lucky duck this week and is in Mexico!!! I wish I was in Mexico! To pretend that I am in Mexico, I decided to do some Mexican nail art in celebration of her trip.I tried to attempt to recreate the seal in the middle of the flag about 5 bazillion times, but I couldn't get it. So, I know there should be symbol there, but I decided to just go for the color theme and not so much a real life mural.

Hope you enjoy and I am wishing Leesha an awesome time away!!

Hello and Goodbye - Vacay Nails!

Hello Everybun!

Confused by the title?
Well, It turns out that as you are reading this my plane has just taken off. I scheduled this post at the exact moment that it leaves. I am off to Mexico!

But have no fear! I have a bunch of posts scheduled, GUEST POSTS in fact!

So since I'm off on vacay, of course I had to do nails for the occasion!

My base color is Zoya - Mimi and the rest is all acrylic paint.

I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to do Mexico nails or something cute and floral. As you can see I picked the latter.

I'll see you all in two weeks but as I said, Have no fear! Guest posts are going to be up as well as a few manis of mine that have been unposted for a while. Also, I usually post Monday, Wednesday, Friday and sometimes sunday but while I'm gone it will be Tuesday/Thursday only.

Regarding the guest posts, I know some people write a little bit before it but I'd like to let the posts talk for themselves, So as a precursor, THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO GUEST POSTED FOR ME!

Carry on !

Ellagee - Beam Me Up

Hello everybun!

Today I have my final review of the Ellagee polishes that I was sent. You can check out my other reviews here and here.

*Beam Me Up is a sheer gold top coat inspired by, of course, the Star Trek series. Again, you can find her offishal description here.

I wasn't sure what color to use as an undie so I picked whatever!
The Blue is an unamed Claire's
the Green is an unamed Color Club
the White is Sinful colors - Snow Me White
and
the pink is Sinful Colors - Island Coral

of course the top coat is Beam Me Up

As a top coat this is gorgeous. Application was smooth and of course it's beautiful just like the rest of the collection.

You can find Ellagee polishes HERE

Thank you to Laura for sending me these polishes to review!

*This polish was sent to me to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

Mia Secret Crackle - White

Hi everybun!

Looking at these nails now, don't they remind you of tie dye? Or those tie dye fruit roll ups? Mmmm, I love fruit roll ups...

Underneath this Mia Secret Crackle in White, is actually a failed ikat design. I got angry with it and reached for the closest thing to cover this up, which turned out to be the Mia Secret! I had previous issues with other crackles I used NOT crackling enough and after a rough patch in my crackle relationship I decided out of exasperation to give it another go.

Somethin' musta worked right because look at the lovely little crackles this produced! Yeesh do all the layers of polish make my nails look thick though. This was actually the Julep - Abbie that I had on about a week ago. It took 4 coats for opacity so on top of the numerous other coats (failed ikat design, top coat, crackle, top coat) of course my nails looked faker than fake!

Oh well, the design is pretty anyway!

Have a lovely Thursday and I'll see you all tomorrow with the ER31DC!

Animal Nails Part 2

Yay! Happy Sunday Bunday!

Today is part 2 of my Animal Nails. Once again, these little guys were inspired from an envelope I received as a part of the spring postcard exchange on BunSpace.

On to the nails!

From left to right, Fox, Snake, Bunny, Dolphin and my thumb is a panda!

And here they all are together!

Bun bun bunny bunz time!

He was all flopped out and I thought his ears looked really cute because they're on the ground!
He's actually in the same position right now except for facing the other way! I took this a few hours ago and he's flopped everywhere since then!

Love from Leesha's Lacquer

P.S I have all of the stufff for the giveaway ready to go! I'm just waiting for a nice sunny day to photograph it all, hopefully one of these days will be!
