KKCenterhk BLUESEA Rainbow Bowtie Review

Hello everybun!

I'm super duper excited because today I have a product to review from KKCenterhk. 

I received two items to review and today I will be reviewing their

Speaking of that, I noticed right when I got these cute little bowties that they look to be blue, yellow and pink in their picture, but in person they actually look green, yellow and pink.

That is no matter for what I had in mind for these BUT it is something to remember when purchasing this product. Of course, all computer monitors vary in color, but keep in mind in person these look green, yellow and pink.  

HELLO KITTY!!!!!!!

Yes, my love for hello kitty drove me to these bows the minute I saw them! They are obviously a little large (they do not lay flat on the nail), so they're not very practical for everyday wear, but for a night out these would be a lovely decoration. The exact sizing is 10mmX6mmX2mm.

On their page it says to use a little glue, but I just used my seche vite top coat and they're actually really sturdy. I've been wearing these for 3 hours now and have done various activities from putting on a jacket (a hello kitty jacket!) to eating and typing and these lovelies have yet to fall off.

Green Machine

A long long long long LONG.. well..maybe not THAT long ago, my parents had an old car that they nicknamed the Green Machine. I've heard SOOO many stories about the old Green Machine that met its demise way before I was born and this mani is dedicated to none other than the Green Machine!

I'll have to ask my parents what the Green Machine was tomorrow and I'll update this post later with a picture of the car.

My Green Machine nails are ULTA - Limelight, which is the dark green color on the left 

and

Avon - Jade which is the light green color on the right.

I obviously freehanded these with nothing more than the brushes that came in the bottle due to its wibbly wobbly nature that you see above, but they look pretty straight below!

Sometimes I never know how to end my posts and I sit here forever trying to think of fun or interesting ways to say goodbye! So...let's keep it nice and simple today,

P.s. The rainbow Goodbye was totally necessary!

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 4

Week 4 here, and we have Green nails on the schedule for today!

I was a little stumped at first but then looking through my greens inspired me and made me realize a lot of greens are named after limes!

So a lime manicure it is!

This is 2 coats of Essence - Lime Up! for the base

The white is Sinful Colors - Snow me White

and the dark green rind is Ulta - Limelight

I know the lines aren't perfect but that's what I love about it! This is something that I never would have done otherwise and I love the way these turned out. Here's some more picture spam because of my love for the lime!

Valentine's Day Mani Finale!

Hello and Happy Valentine's Day everybody! Even if you don't celebrate Valentne's Day, these Manis should still make you as cheery as if you did!

I have not one, not two, but THREE Valentine's treats for you all.

Here is your first treat :

I used a buttload of colors here and used a dotting tool to sprinkle the pinks on.

The pinks I used from lightest to darkest were :

Color Club - Blushing Rose

Ulta - Flamingo

Santee - Flower Pink

Lycra - Pink Punk

Santee - Fusion Pink

Rimmel - Stop Traffic

I then took a small brush and used Wet n Wild - Ebony Hates Chris to outline the black heart and finished it off with Kleancolor - Madly Matte.

Overall I think this one turned out OK, it wasn't what I envisioned in my head and the Matte made it turn out all lumpy, but oh well.

Your next treat is my favorite :

I got the inspiration for this one from the Hello Kitty cookie jar that my Mom got me for christmas.

For the pink I used Lycra - Pink Punk Sinful and I used Sinful Colors - Snow Me White with a dotting tool for the dots and hearts.

This is the Mani I'm sportin' for Valentine's Day, it's a lot brighter in person.

I finished this off with a coat of Seche Vite.

And your last, but not least treat is one that I did on my friend Tiana. She came up to me and asked me for a Valentine's Day Mani that was "like mine, but not." This is what we came up with :

I like that this one was simple yet cute. I'm especially surprised that I was able to get the heart on her ring finger so even! I used the same colors as mine,  Lycra - Pink Punk Sinful and Sinful Colors - Snow Me White. 

Once again, Have a Happy Valentine's Day! I just got my first Shimmer nail polish today and have some nail art plans in mind for it coming up next week.

Superbowl Nails

I must say, my dad sure knows how to pick a winning team (sarcasm). It seems that whatever team my dad picks, that's the team that my family is rooting for and this year he picked the 49ers, who for those of you who didn't watch, lost 31-34 yesterday. 

I free handed the white stripes and black stripes on the SF nail with acrylic paint and I guess you could say I cheated a bit because The outlines of the white were done with sharpie. The nail polishes I used are as follows.

Green - Limelight by Ulta - A 3 coater

Red - Murray Hill Mauve by NYC - A (suprisingly) 1 coater

Gold - Deadly Dose by Wet n Wild - A 2 coater

Brown - Sketchy Character by Finger Paints - A 2 coater

And here's my little half moon football on my thumb.

What did you guys do for super bowl? Did you pig out like I did? Brisket, is indeed, my downfall!
