Wet n Wild Wild Shine - Red Red Swatch and Review

Hey there everybun!
Although I completely destroyed these nails making nail polish the very next day, I thought I'd still share with you a few beautiful shots while it was alive and pretty!

This is just 1(!!!) coat of Red Red with 1 coat of Out the Door top coat. Not only is this one of the most gorgeous and brightest reds I own, the formula was amazing. I couldn't believe it was just a one coat-er!

I was able to pick this baby up on sale for 99 cents, but I believe they are regularly $1.99, at least they were at the Walgreens I got this at.
I am absolutely excited to try the rest of these new Wild Shine colors!
Thanks for stopping by!

Glinda the Good Witch! Nail Art Part II

Hey everybun!
One of my most popular post seems to be this one, from over a year ago with some Wizard of Oz nail art. I did some Glinda the Good Witch nails, and looking back, I feel that my nail art skills have improved vastly, and so has my photography.
For the funs of it, I decided to recreate this look to compare the two!

Blue and Silver Skittle Nails

Hello there everybun!
This weekend has brought me a new nail shape, since I've gotten the following comments on my previous shape : "Scary!", "Eww!", "Why? Like actually. Why?" and my favorite "Did you do that on purpose?".
So here they are, slightly less pointy and hopefully less scary.

See more pictures and what colors I used when you click below!

Nail Art - Blue Glitter Gradient

Hey everybun!
Sometimes it seems that my most simple and easy ideas of nail art turn out the best. This is one of those times.

Sinful Colors - Hottie
Wet n Wild - Kaleidoscope

I am so so so so so much in love with these nails! I never ever want to take this polish off I love it sooo much!
It was so simple to do and it took less than 5 minutes for everything. I even did both hands!

Yay for simple yet stunning designs!

Hmm, there's not much more to say about this nail art other than it's clearly one of my favoritests. So how has your week been?
Happy hump day!

Fall Stripes

Hey everyone!
I have some cute Fall nail art for you today! I used the KKCenterhk striping brush for these which you can find my review here.

I used Julep - Chloe as the base
The lighter gold is Wet n Wild - The Bronze Age
and the darker color is Wet n Wild - Rustic

This very much reminded me of zebra stripes, but I'm not sure if it's "stripey" enough to qualify!

See you all Monday with a beautiful sparkly polish that I'm sure you all will love!

Henna Inspired Nail Art

Ever since I did my henna a few months ago, I've REALLY wanted to do a henna nail art design!
Now, this one wasn't as I had planned and I wanted it to be much more intricate, but here it is

Wet n Wild - Silvivor
Julep - Matte Top Coat
Migi nail art pen in Black

I still think it turned out pretty well though!
I've since took this off, and I'm on a two day streak of not wearing polish and it's getting pretty depressing. BUT, I have been pouring my time in making some blogger sets, making sure that everything is mixed and the minis match up to the full sizes, which means I have some new polishes coming out that I hope ya'll will lurve.

See you all soon!

Galaxy Nails!

Hello everyone!
Today I have a quicky post but I have some EXCITING news that I'll be announcing in a little bit!

I did some galaxy nails a few days ago for the fun of it but instead of using the regular galaxy colors, I decided to jazz it up by doing it with pastel colors!

I used a crap ton of different glitter and sponged on Wet n Wild - I Need a Refresh-Mint and Wet n Wild - On a Trip.

Everybody get excited now! I'll be announcing my surprise soon!

KKCenterhk BLUESEA Rainbow Bowtie Review

Hello everybun!

I'm super duper excited because today I have a product to review from KKCenterhk
I received two items to review and today I will be reviewing their
  *   BLUESEA Bowtie Rainbow Colours Nail Art Decoration [BLUESEA-VB03D]
Click the link above to see what I'm talkin' bout!
Speaking of that, I noticed right when I got these cute little bowties that they look to be blue, yellow and pink in their picture, but in person they actually look green, yellow and pink.

That is no matter for what I had in mind for these BUT it is something to remember when purchasing this product. Of course, all computer monitors vary in color, but keep in mind in person these look green, yellow and pink.

HELLO KITTY!!!!!!!

Yes, my love for hello kitty drove me to these bows the minute I saw them! They are obviously a little large (they do not lay flat on the nail), so they're not very practical for everyday wear, but for a night out these would be a lovely decoration. The exact sizing is 10mmX6mmX2mm.
On their page it says to use a little glue, but I just used my seche vite top coat and they're actually really sturdy. I've been wearing these for 3 hours now and have done various activities from putting on a jacket (a hello kitty jacket!) to eating and typing and these lovelies have yet to fall off.

The colors I used were
Finger Paints - Watermelon
ULTA - Limelight
Julep - Abbie
Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
and
Wet n Wild - Ebony Hates Chris

These Bowties retail for $4.00 for 2 bows. Shipping rates vary by weight. And WOO you can use them on acrylics, natural nails and uv nails.

Black Glitter Gradient - Sparkly, Sparkly!

Hello lovelys! Happy Monday!

It's true.. Once you start the gradient you just don't stop!
The following glitter gradient truly was never meant to be. I was totally going for an edgy punk rock look and somehow transformed it into WOO LET'S GO TO THE CLUB * obnoxious house music*

The black is Nina Ultra pro
The glitters are Wet n Wild - Kaleidoscope
and
Sally Hansen - Twinkle, Twinkle

Despite this mani not turning out the way I wanted it too, I'm happy with the final product!

Oh gradients..my new love!

Sunday Bunday : Spring Edition

Why hello and Happy Spring (Finally!)
Today it was actually nice and sort of hot in fact. The high was 74 degrees! We've actually been in quite a cold slump lately and this weathers definitely making me feel springy!

And what, of course, is the typical sign of spring? Flowers!

Flowers,Flowers,Flowers!

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers! Inspired by This, this this skirt (okay, I'm overkill on the repetition, nixing it now!)

The colors I used for this were
Maybelline Color Show - Born With It  as the base
Wet n Wild - Ebony Hates Chris  as the black
and
Sinful Colors - Canary Yellow  as, obviously, the yellow

And as per usual, it IS Sunday Bunday : Harvey's Day!
Here is the lovely bunny of the day!

Have a happy sunday bunday!

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 5

The first thing I thought to myself when I blindly grabbed for 3 random yet closely related blues was, Oh no, This is going to be a DISASTER!

Yet as I finished my last nail, I'm proud to say my crazy willy nilly attitude produced some quality nail art!

The orange/coral is the same I used Wednesday. I know it's odd to pair orange with blue  I think its odd to pair orange with blue and I sort of just grabbed at blues that looked pretty in my drawer! From lightest to darkest they are :

China Glaze - Turned up Turquoise
Spoiled - Distant Memory
Wet n Wild -Bijou Blue

I'm really happy with my blues!

In unrelated blue news I decided I'd like to try my hand at making my own indie polish (not to be confused with frankening, which is taking already made polish and mixing them together,  for those who don't know ((I'm talking to you mom!)) I'm talking about the whole 9 yards.. hell.. I'm talking the whole 10 yards! I bought a starter kit on etsy and a few micas and glitters I saw on my search for supplies and for now I'm going to see if I'm actually good at it. I don't want to go all out on something I'm not even sure that I'm good at.

I'll give you all more details in the future when I actually get to the mix'n!

Check out the rest of the girls Blue nails down below and have a happy Friday!

St. Paddy's Day Mani

Sooo, I heard a certain Holiday is happening this Sunday!
I may not be a lick of Irish, but I do enjoy a nice green Holiday. It gives me an excuse to do a green Mani!

For some reason this just SCREAMED St. Paddy's Day to me.
This green is 2 coats of Elf  from the Beautifully Bright 3 piece set. with a coat of Seche on top. It doesn't have a name on it unfortunately. Since I'm such a master namer I think I'll name it Green.. OOO! No! St. Paddy's Green! Yeah, that's better!

In the bottle it looks like such a bright green, but on the nails and in the pictures it looks more of a turquoise/forest green. Hmph, it's still bright green to me!

The silver is Wet n Wild - Silvivor .

This is the first time I saw the name Silvivor which means I probably haven't swatched it yet but it's such a cute name!

And here is St. Paddy's Green on its own :

I held my hand at a really awkward angle but thank goodness for cropping!

This is with a basecoat and without Seche Vite.

So whoever celebrates St. Paddy's, have fun this Sunday! Meanwhile I'll probably be curled up with my bunny, Harvey, and i'll be reading a book (or a nice gossip magazine!)

Shimmer Polish - Maria

Hey everyone!
Today I have some nail art that I'm very pleased with. It came out much better than I thought it would.
There's so many pictures that I love, beware the photo bomb!

This is Shimmer - Maria over two coats of Wet n Wild - I Need a Refresh-Mint and one coat of Seche Vite on top.

Maria is a beautiful Blue glitter with at least 3 or 4 different micro glitters in various sizes.
Application was a breeze and I loved how their was a good amount of large and small glitters per swipe on the nail.
Love, Love, Love this!

I used nothing but the brush that came in the bottle for this glitter gradient.

Of course I've always wanted to see what Glitter would look like mattefied in real life because I've seen it everywhere on other blogs!

Let me tell you I LOVE IT!

I used Julep - Matte Top Coat for this matteification and it went on smooth as butter, unlike my last matte which clumped up terribly after a few uses which in turn made my nails all uneven and gloopy when I used it.

I loved how the blues played together and the muted glisten you get with the matte. It reminds me of glittery chalk, which I've never seen but hope it exists!

Have a wonderful day my little lady bugs!

You can find Shimmer - Maria here  and check out the other polishes while you're at it.

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 2

I know I said I'd do this post later in the evening but I stayed up all night and now I have little to do, so why not post this now?

I'm officially on track now and the girls are already rolling out the orange's, so here's mine! :

The base Orange is Wet n Wild - Sunny Side Up
The sparkly orange is Sally Hansen - Moonlit Dance
and the dark orange is Bonita , which doesn't have a name and when that happens I become namer of the polishes. Usually I'm pretty boring with polish naming and I decided to boringly call this one Orange. So Bonita - Orange it is!

I love me a nice tape design to make things look snazzy. (Oh how I've wished to throw that word into a post for such a long time!)

Be sure to check out the others below!
