Spring One-Stroke Flower Nail Art

Happy Spring Everybun!
Spring has sprung (since Friday, it's officially been spring in fact!) even though those 3 inches of snow we got sure isn't making it feel springy.
Alas, my nails have never let me down to portray the mood (and weather) that I want!

I used two coats of Bluebonnet, from my spring collection and the rest is acrylic paint.

These definitely sprung up my mood and I'm really happy with the way that these turned out!

You can find my entire spring collection HERE on my etsy!
Thank you for stopping by everybun!

Superbowl 2015 - Seattle Seahawks Nail Art

Happy Superbowl day, everybun!
I'm sure many of you are currently celebrating with tons of good food, and for those of you who are not, that's cool too!

Every year on my blog I provide some type of Superbowl nail art and this year is no different!
You can see my other two designs here.

Now for this years installment:

I kept with the theme of the past two years, with the field, football and logo.

I hope everybun has a safe and fun Superbowl, and may the best team win (So far I'm 0/2 in picking the winning team!)

Sinful Colors - Matte About Blue Swatch and Review

Hey everybun! Happy Bunday Monday.
As I said last week, I have weeks worth of polish to stored up in my polish folder. We'll be starting with this little lovely by Sinful Colors, Matte about Blue.
My local K-Mart is closing down and everything is 30% off, and you'll NEVER guess what I gravitated towards. Can you guess? If your answer is anything but polish, then you're wrong!
I was very interested to see that Sinful Colors had a matte/silk collection and this was the last one on the shelf!

Octopus Nail Art!

Hey everybun!
Happy final hours of Labor day! Did you all eat as much as I did? I still have so many leftovers, ima be eating them for days!
A while ago I was apart of an Indie maker exchange and the theme was purple. The other day I got my polish in the mail and OHMYGOODNESS I put it on right away. Thank you so much Live Life Polished for this lovely that I used as my base called Grape-Aide.

Zoya Ombre

Hey everybun!
College, the State Fair, my sister's art show AND some major cleaning have all rendered me useless in the nail art world. I wanted to have some super boss nails for school, but I was only able to crank this out the night before class (when I should have been sleeping!).
I used all Zoya's with my thumb and ring being textured "accent" nails.

Zoya - Dream Swatch and Review

Hey everybunny!
Today, I'll be enjoying my day at Valleyfair, which is the local amusement park, so I'm currently writing this the night before.
For the occasion, I decided to try my hand (haha!) at this beautiful holographic polish by Zoya called Dream.

Leesha's Lacquer - Pin-Up - The Pinterest Collection

Hey there, lovely people of the internet.
Yesterday, I was feeling absolutely, totally and unequivocally UNINSPIRED. I know. It's insane and that's what my mind almost went until I decided to just grab whatever was closest to me on my desk. Eyes closed, I plunged into the depths of my desk and well-ah! Pin-Up looked me straight into the eyes!
Behold!

KKCenterhk Review - N.NAIL Star Neon Pink 2mm Studs

*product sent to me to review in exchange for my honest opinion

Hey there, everybun.
I totally KILLED it at the Craft Show on Saturday and made some connections with others that I hope will get my business growing even more.
I had tons of fun but I only got one picture of my booth that I'll post at the end.

Continuing my "good blogger" streak, I have for you today a stellar (haha!) review of some star studs from KKCenterhk. I've reviewed studs like these in the past, and now I want all the colors because they're so fun to use!
Shooting stars, anyone?

Yes, that's right, in all of my super creative creativity I've come up with these cute little shooting stars.
These are 2mm Star Studs, which were perfect for this design that I did with striping tape.

Blue and Silver Skittle Nails

Hello there everybun!
This weekend has brought me a new nail shape, since I've gotten the following comments on my previous shape : "Scary!", "Eww!", "Why? Like actually. Why?" and my favorite "Did you do that on purpose?".
So here they are, slightly less pointy and hopefully less scary.

See more pictures and what colors I used when you click below!

Rainbow French Tips

Hey everybunny!
Happy Friday!

I, for whatever reason on Wednesday, decided it was an opportune time to do all of my nails. Now I usually don't do all of my nails because I usually only get to wear them all for a day or so before I have to take them off and do them again. I generally have mismatched nails because I hate to go bare so it's nail art and designs for the blog on the left, and whatever color I'm feeling on the right. But for these past few days? My nails have been a match made in nail polish heaven!

I just grabbed for cremes and I'm not certain what the colors were. I was hoping to finish the rainbow with purple but not all of my nails cooperated in line even-ness.

These were soooo fun to make and to look at! I got so many compliments and basked in the glory when I told whoever complimented me that YES, I MADE THESE!
I'm so proud!

See you all Monday for some more polish fun!

Essie - Fair Game Swatch and Review

Hey everybun!
I had a rare "let my nails breathe" couple of days this weekend hence the little break from posting. Alas, the acrylics are back and BEST OF ALL, NO MAJOR BREAKS WERE SUFFERED DURING MY BREAK!
I feel great with a fresh set of a acrylics to go, lemme show you what I got for you today.

Ooo, just LOOK at that shimmery goodness in the photo above.
Yes, may I introduce you all to Essie - Fair Game.

She was a lovely 2 coater with a great formula. I wore this for 3 days on both hands and although it was not a "I must stare at this all day", it was very pretty in certain lighting. Now I'm not sure if this is grey or blue, because it looks like a little of both. But the pretty shiny rainbow micro flecks that grace this lovely lacquer made me fall in love with it's subtlety.
I've yet to find an Essie that I DON"T love!

Happy Monday everybun!

Nail Art - Blue Glitter Gradient

Hey everybun!
Sometimes it seems that my most simple and easy ideas of nail art turn out the best. This is one of those times.

Sinful Colors - Hottie
Wet n Wild - Kaleidoscope

I am so so so so so much in love with these nails! I never ever want to take this polish off I love it sooo much!
It was so simple to do and it took less than 5 minutes for everything. I even did both hands!

Yay for simple yet stunning designs!

Hmm, there's not much more to say about this nail art other than it's clearly one of my favoritests. So how has your week been?
Happy hump day!

KKCenterHk Review - Baby Blue 2mm Circle Nail Art Decorations

*This product was sent to me for review in exchange for my honest opinion
Hey there lovely peoples of the internet!
I know, I went missing again. But life is life, right? I have been recovering and recuperating from the terrible news last week that my favorite aunt had passed away. She lived 3 hours north from me and we were given super short notice. It was basically like I had to pack up immediately and leave, so I'm sorry to all for the lack of notice! I've just now had the energy to open up the ol' lappy and see what was chilling in my unposted folder since I haven't really been able to do my nails much this past week.
So here we are!
I had gotten these to review sometime during my hiatus and finally a couple of weeks ago was able to give them a proper go on the nails.

These pretty little blue diamonds, which you can find HERE, are absolutely gorgeous in person. My lighting turned out a little wonky but they have this really pretty rainbow-ish shimmer to them.

The only complaint I have with these is how tiny they are. It's not really so much that they're tiny, it's that SINCE they're tiny, they're super hard to pick up. I found that tweezers did absolutely nothing, maybe one of those wax sticks would have worked a little better. My polish had dried on my ring finger many times before I could get these on the nail fast enough.

I was able to put top coat over these without them looking all weird as well! I didn't on my ring finger, because after the hassle of putting these all on I said F#$% it and angrily grabbed my camera to get the pictures over with.

Seriously though, they're super pretty little diamonds that would be great for any nail art occasion, just expect a little extra time fiddling with these little guys.

Overall?
8/10
Would recommend.

China Glaze - Man Hunt Swatch and Review

Hello lovely ladies and gents!
What a day to present to you such an awesome, bright and summery polish! Yesterday it was in the 80's here in the lovely MN.
I'm tired of sweater weather! It's been time for a change to sunny, and boy do I have a polish that will lighten your day up like the sun!

Meet, the lovely, the stunning : China Glaze, Man Hunt!!

Give her a round of applause!
In one thick coat (or two thin), whatever your preference may be, it was such an easy and smooth polish to work with. I opted for 1 thicker coat and, surprise! No top coat!
I was shocked at the amount of shine in this little bottle.
Shiny color, shiny coat. Shiny, shiny, shine!

Boy, she sure is a beaut!

What summer colors are YOU all lookin' to wear?
I know I'll be sport in' this as long as I can!

Look what the CAT dragged in!

HELLO EVERYBUN WOOO
WOO WOO WOOOOO!
I'm back!
Can you tell I'm excited? BECAUSE I AM! It sucked to look longingly at the blog, knowing that it was on hold but I was so super busy! Now that college is over for the semester and I don't have to worry about anything til next semester, which is fall, I have my shop and my blog to keep me company.
So on to the mani!
I have been LOVING my new nail shape and figured I'd incorporate it into my first design back and this is what I came up with.

I used Salon Perfect in Fired Up Fuchsia and Bermuda Baby which were my first experiences with Salon Perfect. I LOVED the formula. Can you believe this is only 2 coats and on some nails it was opaque in just one coat?! Not to mention dat satin finish, tho! I loved the finishes so much I didn't even add top coat. The black was done with an I heart nail art pen by Sally Hansen in Black.Which, by the way, almost caused me to flip a table and punch a large mammal, because halfway through the ol' nail art process it began to goop up like nobodies business. I gave it a little shake, cursed, and added some thinning drops. Whether it was the cursing or the thinning drops (the world may never know) I was able to persevere, and finish the design on my right hand, albeit a bit sloppier a la my middle finger.

Over all, everything turned out super fantastical and awesome and I wore this design for a week..Not because I really REALLY liked it but to be honest, I was just really, really lazy and the design turned out decent enough to show off to the world.

So ladies and the occasional fabulous male, how have your nail art adventures been? Anything cool or different happen lately?
See you all Monday, loves!

KKCenterhk Review - Black Mirror Nail Foil

*This product was sent to me for review in exchange for my honest opinion
Hey lovelies, Monday has almost come and gone, but I managed to fit a post in before the day has ended!
I have for you today some very interesting nail foils that I absolutely LOVE from KKCenterhk. So let's get to it!

The most interesting thing happened with these. I used Jessica - Black Matte as my base, then used the Beauty glue that came with the nail foils, slapped the foils on, and proceeded to use top coat...

...and this happened! The nails with topcoat turned from reddish/orange to blue! I marked the nails, as you can see, above.

I always recommend using top coat, (Seche Vite is my choice) with nail foils because they otherwise shed off really easily. I'm not sure if it was the Seche Vite or what, but I was definitely surprised when it happened!

The shiny effect that these foils have isn't exactly mirror, and they look a bit textured (though that could just be my error in applying them!), but I still love the effect they give!

You can find these foils here or you can check out the other nail foils they have here.

Spring Mani (for a contest!)

Hey everyone!
I've had a flu/cold kicking my butt since Sunday, and I've finally felt well enough to get out of bed which means I've also felt well enough to do my nails! I've had this 2 Girls 20 Nails Spring Nail Art Competition in the back of my mind for the past week and got straight to a spring-ish mani today. Here's what I came up with:

I did a little gradient with some spring-y bright colors, then some one stroke flowers and wellah!

Here is my entry for the competition:

Happy Spring everybun!

Sing For Me by Yellowcard

Hey everyone!
Today..well..technically it will be yesterday by the time this is posted, was/is Mani Monday Challenge by Lynda. Today's theme was Inspired by a Love Song. I couldn't think of a love song so I asked Mr.LL and he recommended this song by Yellowcard. And I came up with this :

I couldn't find my white migi nail art pen so I did this all by hand with a tiny brush and I'm quite happy with how it came out! The background is inspired by the  Album:

I loved this theme and can't wait for next Monday's challenge!
