Happy Spring Everybun!

Spring has sprung (since Friday, it's officially been spring in fact!) even though those 3 inches of snow we got sure isn't making it feel springy.

Alas, my nails have never let me down to portray the mood (and weather) that I want!

I used two coats of Bluebonnet, from my spring collection and the rest is acrylic paint.

These definitely sprung up my mood and I'm really happy with the way that these turned out!

Rocky Horror Picture Show Nail Art

Hey there everybun!

Happy Tuesday! Can you believe how warm it is? It was 61 where I am and I've heard of other states having unseasonably warm temps as well!
Since it was so lovely today, I present you with some lovely nail art!

This gold is 2 coats of Rock-y Hard Abs from my newest Trans-Fab Transylvania collection. I also did some matching Rocky Horror Nail art as an accent nail.

Born Pretty Store - Pastel Mermaid Review!

Hey there everybun!

I have the most interesting little decals for you today. I accidentally somehow messed up this pastel mani I had going on, so what better to fix it up than with some glitter? And what better to fix up the smudge on my accent nail than with some accent mermaids?!

Polishes Used:
Leesha's Lacquer - Fairy Dust for the Glitter
Markers with rubbing alcohol for the pastel over White

My happy little accident ACTUALLY turned into something happy. Three cheers for inventiveness!

The Mermaid decal thingys are from Born Pretty and I'm not sure what to call them, since they're not sticky and are made of a really thin bendable metal. On one side it is shiny gold and on the other it's matte bronze, which you can see in the photo below.

I had a hard time getting these babies to lay down flat, so they DO snag a little bit on the corners (which this mermaid has a lot of. Curvy women ftw!). Aside from that, I absolutely loved how these jazzed up my pastel fck up!

Superbowl 2015 - Seattle Seahawks Nail Art

Happy Superbowl day, everybun!

I'm sure many of you are currently celebrating with tons of good food, and for those of you who are not, that's cool too!

Every year on my blog I provide some type of Superbowl nail art and this year is no different!

Now for this years installment:

I kept with the theme of the past two years, with the field, football and logo.

I hope everybun has a safe and fun Superbowl, and may the best team win (So far I'm 0/2 in picking the winning team!)

Guest Post #4 - A Girl and her chicken named Betty - Winter Wonderland Nail Art

Hello Lovelies!

I'm Alexandria from over at A girl and her chicken named Betty, and I'm delighted to be guesting for Leesha today! I love wearing mints and pastel blues in my winter designs, so I whipped up this sugar coated mani. I started off with a gradient of blues and purples, my base is NYC In A New York Color Minute Robin's Egg Blue and then I used three purples for the gradient. I also added a thin coat of EN-VY Funny Bunny, it's a super sheer white shimmer and it smoothed the whole gradient very nicely.

The trees were done with white acrylic paint and a thin detail brush, I painted the tree outlines a bit roughly to make them look like they're frosted with icing :) Then I just finished it off with some topcoat!

Guest Post #3 - gigithegirly - New Years Nails!

Hey all buns, It's gigithegirly here for Leesha, and I have an awesomely sparkly, pretty new years eve nail look. It's nice and classy but has all the sparkle that you could want for new years!

So I'm sure we've all seen a reverse french manicure but here it is in all the glitter! This look is awesomely easy to reproduce. All polishes used are OPI. So I first started with a 2 base coats of OPI Ink and then one good coat of Temptation (designer series) and did my half moons in In True Stefani Fashion and finished it all off with a top coat.

This look will go awesomely with my little black dress and some dramatic makeup as I ring in the new year :)

Hey everybun!

I've been at it all day, filling bottles and slapping labels on em'. It's been quite exhausting so I thought I'd have a nice sit down to write this blog post.
