Happy St.Paddy's Day with Bin Chic's St.Paddy's Shillelagh !

Hey there everybun, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Hopefully you wore SOME type of green today so as to avoid the dreaded pinch. I was pinched quite a few times, but was able to get some pinch back revenge since I was in fact wearing green on my nails!
THIS green in fact! :

This is St.Paddy's Shillelagh sponged over my own Rock-y Hard Abs with Julep Shoshanna as the holo glitter.

St. Paddy's Shillelagh is a beautiful green perfect for St.Paddy's day! It has tons of beautiful green shimmer that makes this an absolutely must have green polish.

I hope you all have a fun and safe St.Paddy's Day! Cheers to all!

KKCenterHK - Leopard Water Decal Review

Hey everybun
Happy, Tuesday!
You must excuse my late post, because hot damn is this semester hard. The tests! The quizzes! O' Athena, spare me some smarts!
Anyways, enough with the dramatics, let's get it on...To the review..

These darn water decals have been sitting, taunting me for months. Why? You ask? Well ,the first time I attempted to put them on, I managed to get them off the white backing, but for some reason there was an added plastic backing between the decal and the white backing.
I hadn't figured this out until recently, and every time I'd attempt to use these, they just wouldn't work.
Finally, I FORCED two of them off, after ruining 4, I decided to just stick to a simple mani.

Gold at the end of the Rainbow

Hey everybun!
I've been at it all day, filling bottles and slapping labels on em'. It's been quite exhausting so I thought I'd have a nice sit down to write this blog post.
You know how they say that you can always find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow? While I'm not sure if that's true in the real world, it sure is true in mind! Behold! The gold at the end of the rainbow!

Clickity clack, for more pictures, STAT!

Bissu - Destellos De Atardecer (Flashes of Sunset) Swatch

Hello everybunny!

Happy Humpday!
I have an amazing swatch today of some nail polish that I got on my trip to Mexico last year. This brand, called Bissu, seems to be a polish that is quite popular as I always see it in shops in both Centro (downtown) and stores on the street. Mexico is a little bit hard to explain if you haven't been there, but I found many lovely things there and oh my goodness this polish is one of them.

Meet Destellos De Atardecer (which translates to Flashes of Sunset)

Sally Hansen Ooh La La Ombre Gold- Happy Birthday to ME!

Hello everyone!
It's my birthday today, woo woo!
I had some birthday nails planned out yesterday, but they didn't work out so here is birthday mani #2!

From Left to Right : Golden I, Coin Flip and Spark in the Dark

As the title says, This is a pack of three polishes called Ooh La La Ombre Glittery Gold. It comes with all the polishes you see above. I was actually pretty sad, I really did sponge Coin Flip onto Golden I but you can't see it at all in these pictures, much less real life. The colors are too dupe-ish, so the effect doesn't really work.
Oh well, Woe is me I guess, I still really like the way this looks on the nails, even though the effect wasn't achieved.
Have a happy Friday ya'll!

KKCenterhk Review - Nail Foil

*This product was sent to me to review in exchange for my honest opinion
I have a few days that Bloggers weren't able to guest post for me, due to the fast pace of the seasons, so it looks like you're stuck with me for a few more scheduled posts until I'll be back for real real and not for play play! Enjoy!

Today I have some awesome nail foils that I've grown to love from KKCenterhk. You can find these foils here
I decided to take a different approach with the nail foils this time and paint on a random pattern with the tacky glue that they sent me. If you're curious on how to apply these, check my other post here.

Gold foil over a Black Base color

I added a coat of Seche Vite onto these and noticed that the star pattern that you see in the bottle sort of shrivels up to give a cool rustic look to the gold pattern. Remember to always use top coat with nail foil, otherwise it starts to peel off and that's never fun!
I'm so happy with the gorgeous gold painted look that these foils achieved and they literally took less than 10 minutes (most of the time was spent waiting for the glue to dry!)
You can get The Foil for $6.92
The Foil + A Smaller Glue for $8.86
The Foil + Glue for $10.80

Zoya Pixie Dust - Tomoko Swatch

Hey all! I have an older swatch that has been sitting around in my unposted folder for quite some time now.
I feel like it's very much relevant as it's coming up on the holidays and Tomoko is a beautiful gold to showcase for them!

I absolutely love the Pixie Dust collection and this one was no different for me, it was love all the way!

I hope you all have a lovely Tuesday. I ordered wayyy to many nail polishes and nail polish making accessories so I'll be sitting by the stairs, adamantly waiting for the mail man to come!

Fall - Blue and Gold!

Empty promises, I know! I said last week I'd be posting but BOOP. I had my craft sale Saturday so WORK WAS DONE! All week last week I did last minute things.

Here's a shot from the craft show in case any one's wondering/think I'm lyin'

Me on the left and Tiana on the Right!

Fun was had and money was made! I felt bad for the people beside us that were selling bath fizzes/ plates. They only made one sale :(

But anyways, here are some much needed nail arts. I have so much new nail polish since I've last blogged it's not even funny! This is one of them..

This would be American Apparel - Passport Blue with an unnamed Elf polish and a glitter that I made.
 This blue is SUCH A BEAUTIFUL BLUE. I bought a lot of American Apparel polishes a while ago and just got around to swatching them now and OH MY GOODNESS ARE THEY SOOOO SMOOTH! Smooth and gorgeous.
I'll be back with more nail arts, and this time I double, triple promise!

Julep - Candace Swatch

Hi there everybun!
Happy, Happy Friday!

I have a wonderful fall-ish swatch for you today and that would be Julep - Candace which I received in my September It Girl Maven box.

This is 2 coats with Seche top Coat. Candace is a lovely golden shimmer with a black base. She's GORGEOUS! I loved her so much I wore her for a few hours but HAD to add some pizzazz with some nail arts..

From left to right, I sponged black from tip to cuticle, used a migi nail art pen for the drippy look, sponged Wet n Wild - Deadly Dose from cuticle to tip and on my pinky is two coats of ILNP - All Gold Everything

Guest Post - Polish Freshie

Hey everyone!
So It was brought to my attention that I had a guest post lined up that DID NOT GET POSTED! Actually, not just one but 2!
BLAGHHHH! This makes me sooooo angry!
Luckily I was wondering what I was to do because every one of my acrylics broke off and I've been running around like crazy, too busy to fix them. I hope you enjoy this post and thank you very much to Polish Freshie for doing this for me!

~~~
When I was approached to do a guest post as Leesha was going to be on vacation I thought what could be more appropriate than palm  trees? For me, the two go hand in hand (even if you're not going somewhere tropical :) ). I have all these great neons waiting to be  dragged out of the stash but I wasn't sure I wanted to use them for this mani. I then saw OPI Oy - Another Polish Joke! glinting at me  from the back of the helmer. This is absolutely one of my favorite polishes, the gold sparkles for days and has a nice, smooth finish. I  used three coats - there's still a bit of visible nail line on the longer nails with a lot of white tip.
For the accent nails I used a base of China Glaze Sunset Sail (another of my faves) and then sponged on Oy APJ!, Sunset Sail and  China Glaze Secret Peri-winkle. I went over the colors twice with the sponge. lastly, I stamped the palm trees from Bundle Monster plate  315 with Zoya Ibiza. Thanks for reading and if you are iclined to follow me, you can do so at http://PolishFreshie.Blogspot.com.
Thanks!
Freshie
Julep - Sienna
Hello all,
I got my first ever Julep Maven box this month and my first color I tried was Sienna. My problem with swatching is, I can never do a swach without a little nail art! Before I get too excited, here is the swatch :
Sienna is a metallic gold that's very shimmery, shiny. Application was 3 coats and removal was easy, but it left me with a bunch of shimmer particles (that wore off in a few hours) all over my fingers. I must say that I do love this polish so far. I currently have Joan on as I type and I love it as well. (Look forward to a swatch of Joan this week).
Now for the nail art!
Sienna is obviously the base color, the black is Maybelline - Twilight Rays, which is a black base with gold flecks, perfect!
Tape is Definitely my friend. I was amazed that I was able to use one piece of tape for the whole hand (my other hand was a different story). This pinky was obviously my last finger so it did get a little funky, but not noticeably at a glance.  As Sammie at The Nailasaurus  has said, Black and Gold is one of the top 5 combinations of all mankind and I definitely agree!
Love from Leesha's Lacquer
