Happy St.Paddy's Day with Bin Chic's St.Paddy's Shillelagh !

Hey there everybun, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Hopefully you wore SOME type of green today so as to avoid the dreaded pinch. I was pinched quite a few times, but was able to get some pinch back revenge since I was in fact wearing green on my nails!
THIS green in fact! :

This is St.Paddy's Shillelagh sponged over my own Rock-y Hard Abs with Julep Shoshanna as the holo glitter.

St. Paddy's Shillelagh is a beautiful green perfect for St.Paddy's day! It has tons of beautiful green shimmer that makes this an absolutely must have green polish.

I hope you all have a fun and safe St.Paddy's Day! Cheers to all!

Thanksgiving Gradient

First of all, I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving if you're celebrating it and if you're not, have a Super Okay Thursday !
I did some pretty cool turkey nail art last year, but this year I got lazy and decided to just do a gradient because it's easiest. So here it is! It doesn't even bare a slight resemblance to anything thanksgiving related (unless you count cooking over a fire?), but it's all my lazy butt churned out!

In real life, the gradient looks much more smoothly transitioned, but here you can't even see the light orange that leads from the yellow to the darker orange.
Hopefully you all have a much prettier and more successful Thanksgiving mani and most of all, I hope you all pig out for me!

I will sadly be going to the early Black Friday sales that begin at 6, so imma have to stuff myself early.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving, ya'll!

Fall Stripes

Hey everyone!
I have some cute Fall nail art for you today! I used the KKCenterhk striping brush for these which you can find my review here.

I used Julep - Chloe as the base
The lighter gold is Wet n Wild - The Bronze Age
and the darker color is Wet n Wild - Rustic

This very much reminded me of zebra stripes, but I'm not sure if it's "stripey" enough to qualify!

See you all Monday with a beautiful sparkly polish that I'm sure you all will love!

Julep - Candace Swatch

Hi there everybun!
Happy, Happy Friday!

I have a wonderful fall-ish swatch for you today and that would be Julep - Candace which I received in my September It Girl Maven box.

This is 2 coats with Seche top Coat. Candace is a lovely golden shimmer with a black base. She's GORGEOUS! I loved her so much I wore her for a few hours but HAD to add some pizzazz with some nail arts..

From left to right, I sponged black from tip to cuticle, used a migi nail art pen for the drippy look, sponged Wet n Wild - Deadly Dose from cuticle to tip and on my pinky is two coats of ILNP - All Gold Everything

Julep - Joan French Tip

Once again, Happy Humpday everybun!

My first day of in-person college was yesterday and all went very well! This is actually my 3rd semester pursuing an A.A degree, in other words, generals, and I've done it all online so far which has been awesome!

But anyways, back to the nails. I decided a few nights ago to do a quick french tip because I couldn't think of anything else so I picked up the closest color which  happened to be Julep - Joan.

I'll be going to the great Minnesota get together tomorrow, The Minnesota State Fair so hopefully I don't scorch (thanks heat wave). See you all Friday!

Julep - Tracy

Hello everybunny

My left hand ring finger is still a little wonky so swatches will have to suffice until I pull out some awesome nail arts.

Meanwhile let's have a lookey loo at Julep - Tracy!

I had NO IDEA that this was a sea salt texture polish. My first thought when I grabbed this from my stash was OOO SHINY! This is 2 coats, but I didn't want a texture so...

..BOOM! I added top coat which definitely did not take away the texture but made it a lot more shiny. Without top coat however, dry time was fast and Tracy really is a beautiful, purple texture coat.

I'll be back wednesday with another lovely swatch!

KKCenterhk BLUESEA Rainbow Bowtie Review

Hello everybun!

I'm super duper excited because today I have a product to review from KKCenterhk
I received two items to review and today I will be reviewing their
  *   BLUESEA Bowtie Rainbow Colours Nail Art Decoration [BLUESEA-VB03D]
Click the link above to see what I'm talkin' bout!
Speaking of that, I noticed right when I got these cute little bowties that they look to be blue, yellow and pink in their picture, but in person they actually look green, yellow and pink.

That is no matter for what I had in mind for these BUT it is something to remember when purchasing this product. Of course, all computer monitors vary in color, but keep in mind in person these look green, yellow and pink.

HELLO KITTY!!!!!!!

Yes, my love for hello kitty drove me to these bows the minute I saw them! They are obviously a little large (they do not lay flat on the nail), so they're not very practical for everyday wear, but for a night out these would be a lovely decoration. The exact sizing is 10mmX6mmX2mm.
On their page it says to use a little glue, but I just used my seche vite top coat and they're actually really sturdy. I've been wearing these for 3 hours now and have done various activities from putting on a jacket (a hello kitty jacket!) to eating and typing and these lovelies have yet to fall off.

The colors I used were
Finger Paints - Watermelon
ULTA - Limelight
Julep - Abbie
Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
and
Wet n Wild - Ebony Hates Chris

These Bowties retail for $4.00 for 2 bows. Shipping rates vary by weight. And WOO you can use them on acrylics, natural nails and uv nails.

Julep - Abbie

Hello all!
I was totally going to do nail art for today but for all the work I had to do to apply Julep - Abbie, I just had to do a swatch review!

My dog, (yes I meant to type Dog! Believe in the power of Dog and all shall be forgiven!) do these look thick don't they? That's because I was dumb and believed I would achieve full opacity without using a white base. This was 4 coats! And look at the bottle! I used this polish once before on one nail (my ducky nail from my animal nails last week) and now look at it! It's almost half gone!

I swear my my nails did not look this thick after I did my acrylics!

I have some nail art planned for this, I wouldn't want to waste all of that polish and not make something pretty out of it!

So word from the wise! DO NOT use Abbie alone! Use white as your base coat and then use Abbie, trust me it will save you another manicures worth of  polish!

Happy Monday! And remember, this Wednesday will see a lack of nail art because the giveaway is will be set to go!

Julep - Eden

I'm usually not one to post a lot of swatches because I feel like nail art is much more interesting to look at but I think that this color is the only exception! My goodness I've never met such a wonderful purple such as this!

This is Julep - Eden in all it's grape soda glory!

Eden was such a dream to apply, this was 1 coat! And I'm not sure if it's just me but I SWEAR it smells like grape soda or those little grape bottle cap candies. I probably shouldn't be smelling my nails but I can't help it because Eden smells so good!

The matte finish was a surprise as well, it was so gorgeous I had to stop myself from ruining it and putting top coat on.

I can't stop looking down at my nails! In bright lights you get that bright purple you see above but at a glance and in dim lights it's actually a really pretty vampy purple.

This DEFINITELY surprised me, I usually am so meh when it comes to swatches but I couldn't cover these babies up! No, no. These will definitely be worn for a few days!

From the delightful smell to the application, everything about Eden was an eden of its own! Maybe that's why they named it Eden...

*Because this was such a positive review I feel like I should note that this was not sent to me for review and that I received this as part of my It girl Julep Maven box that I purchased myself.

Shimmer Polish - Maria

Hey everyone!
Today I have some nail art that I'm very pleased with. It came out much better than I thought it would.
There's so many pictures that I love, beware the photo bomb!

This is Shimmer - Maria over two coats of Wet n Wild - I Need a Refresh-Mint and one coat of Seche Vite on top.

Maria is a beautiful Blue glitter with at least 3 or 4 different micro glitters in various sizes.
Application was a breeze and I loved how their was a good amount of large and small glitters per swipe on the nail.
Love, Love, Love this!

I used nothing but the brush that came in the bottle for this glitter gradient.

Of course I've always wanted to see what Glitter would look like mattefied in real life because I've seen it everywhere on other blogs!

Let me tell you I LOVE IT!

I used Julep - Matte Top Coat for this matteification and it went on smooth as butter, unlike my last matte which clumped up terribly after a few uses which in turn made my nails all uneven and gloopy when I used it.

I loved how the blues played together and the muted glisten you get with the matte. It reminds me of glittery chalk, which I've never seen but hope it exists!

Have a wonderful day my little lady bugs!

You can find Shimmer - Maria here  and check out the other polishes while you're at it.

March Julep Maven box - Teri , Shenae and Simone

Hello Everyone!

Despite the MASSIVE amount of snow we recieved (which it figures the first year I'm out of High School, My school district closes for the first time in AT LEAST 13 years, Pshh), I'm still feeling Springy.

The new March Julep box I found in the mail made me feel even Springier!

The colors I received were in the It Girl box, which were :
Julep - Teri
Julep - Shenae and Julep - Simone.

I used tape to mark off the Blue, which is Shenae, then freehanded the Purple which is Simone and the Orange which is Teri.

The sort of shimmer/nude nail is actually Avon - Pearl Shine which gives off such a pretty subtle shimmer.

Here it is on its own :

Spring has sprung, if only in my mind!

Julep - Joan

As promised, today I have a swatch of Joan by Julep.

Joan is a red base with reddish/yellowish flakies that shine in different lights. I was happy to see that this was a 1 coater, putting on 2 coats just made the flakies more dense, but full opacity was reached in 1.

To spruce it up a bit after a few days of wear (which I saw a lot on the tips) I decided to use Julep - Rebel for a quick french.

Rebel is such a pretty, shiny rainbow silver, unlike anything I have in my stash currently.

As I've been very busy at the Hospital every day it's difficult for me to crack out quality mani's right now, so Friday I will make do with what I have and show you all how I store my polishes and my set up for Acrylics/Nail art.

Have a Happy Wednesday!

Julep - Sienna

Hello all,

I got my first ever Julep Maven box this month and my first color I tried was Sienna. My problem with swatching is, I can never do a swach without a little nail art! Before I get too excited, here is the swatch :

Sienna is a metallic gold that's very shimmery, shiny. Application was 3 coats and removal was easy, but it left me with a bunch of shimmer particles (that wore off in a few hours) all over my fingers. I must say that I do love this polish so far. I currently have Joan on as I type and I love it as well. (Look forward to a swatch of Joan this week).

Now for the nail art!

Sienna is obviously the base color, the black is Maybelline - Twilight Rays, which is a black base with gold flecks, perfect!

Tape is Definitely my friend. I was amazed that I was able to use one piece of tape for the whole hand (my other hand was a different story). This pinky was obviously my last finger so it did get a little funky, but not noticeably at a glance.  As Sammie at The Nailasaurus  has said, Black and Gold is one of the top 5 combinations of all mankind and I definitely agree!
