Sing For Me by Yellowcard

Hey everyone!
Today..well..technically it will be yesterday by the time this is posted, was/is Mani Monday Challenge by Lynda. Today's theme was Inspired by a Love Song. I couldn't think of a love song so I asked Mr.LL and he recommended this song by Yellowcard. And I came up with this :

I couldn't find my white migi nail art pen so I did this all by hand with a tiny brush and I'm quite happy with how it came out! The background is inspired by the  Album:

I loved this theme and can't wait for next Monday's challenge!

Valentines Day Mani #2 - Before and After

Hello all!
I've had a multitude of doctors appointments this week so I'm so sorry for the lack of posting. In other news, I had something set up with one of those deal websites and they completely and utterly cancelled on me, saying that they no longer sell beauty products, such as nail polish, because they had other problems with it in the past. Now these people literally just contacted me on the 15th of January. They didn't bother at all to tell me, after I bought over $200 in mini polish bottles and supplies, that they no longer wished to sell my product. I had to contact THEM and even then, they stopped responding to my emails after I told them that I put hours of effort and lots of money into creating mini grab bags that they requested from ME.
Ugh! I was so upset when this happened, I just made a whole new set of polishes I was so angry!
I guess I'm just left with 300 bottles of minis..I'll figure something cool out to do with them though.
Anyways, here's something a little bit more happy for you, some valentines day nail art WITH a before that I did when I first started my blog and after!

Pinks I used: China Glaze : Passion for Petals, Sinful Colors : Outrages, Dream On and Island Coral
Base color : Zoya : Storm
I think my first attempt is an absolute FAIL but I really like how it came out this time around. I'll have one more before and after valentines day nail art before the valentines grand finale!
Have a happy, happy Friday ya'll!

Square Hue - Times Square Swatch

*Since this review is so positive, I feel its relevant to mention that I purchased this polish with my own money and all views and opinions are my own.
Hello everybun and Happy Monday!
I just finished this semester and I'm pretty certain that I've gotten Straight A's! Woop, woop! In a celebratory fashion, I decided to glam up my nails with Square Hue's - Time Square!

This was my first Square Hue box and I absolutely LOVED IT! There was a free box deal on black friday and I jumped at the chance to try some of what Square Hue has to offer. The shipping was super quick and the polish that you see above became fully opaque in 2 coats! I'm in love! You can find more information about Square Hue here.

Oh yeah, and P.S I have a new christmas section in my etsy shop  that has a few new one of a kind christmas polishes, check it out for some christmas cheer!

Color Blocking

Look who's back! Its me!
I had finals all of last week and I still have a few left to go this week. I couldn't even think about doing any nail art with all of my studying going on, but now things are winding down and I'm back into the swing of things.
I have some color blocking nail art that was completely unplanned and sort of made up as I went along , but it came out cute in the end, so all is well that ends well, right?

I have a ton of nail art plans in my mind and Ill be pouring them out to make up for lost time!
See you all soon!

Leesha's Lacquer Polishes!

Hey, everybun! I've taken some time today to do a few swatches of some polishes I've recently made.

Pink Cashmere

DaBaDeDaBaDi

Raspberry Beret

Red, Red Wine

I took some crap pictures of them before this and felt that they all deserved to be swatch on the nail. On the nail you can truly see the things that make them unique, like in DaBaDeDaBaDi, it was sooo hard to photograph that little bit of holo on the nail wheel.
So, what's the verdict on these babies? They're all opaque in 2 -3 coats.
Are they winners?

Leesha's Lacquer - Mille Lacs Lake

DON'T FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAYS FOUND ON THE TOP RIGHT SIDEBAR!
Hello Everyone and Happy Friday!

Today I have another preview of a polish from my Native American Collection. All of the blogger review sample sets have been sent out! I'm excited and nervous, I'll post the links to the reviews as I get them.

Meanwhile here is Mille Lacs Lake.

This is 1 Coat of Mille Lacs Lake over 3 coats of Icing No Name Blue and no top coat.

Mille Lacs Lake is a mix of blue holo glitters with blue hexes, squares and tons of tiny blue glitters. Mille Lacs Lake was name after the Mille Lacs Lake Indian Reservation on Lake Mille Lakes in Minnesota. This is my reservation and a beautiful one it is indeed. The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe is my specific tribe, in case you're all wondering.

I thought this little bunny would look nice with Mille Lacs Lake and indeed he was very photographic!

For good measure I decided to make a Gif to show off all of the pretty glittery, holo goodness!

Of course Gifs are a bit grainy but surely this shows off the delicious, glittery, yumminess that Mille Lacs Lake offers!

Leesha's Lacquer Polishes will be on sale for $8.00 each in my Etsy shop very, very soon. I still don't have a set date yet for the release, but I am thinking some time at the end of July (which seems SOOOO far away!). By that time I will surely have my next collection all ready to go!

Layla - Ocean Rush

Hey guys, This post is a little late today, Sorry about that as you know I've been VERY busy.

So I have Layla - Ocean Rush for you today which is my first Holographic nail polish that I've ever tried. I have to say, it's really not what I expected.

This is three coats, with a base coat because I wasn't sure about staining and a top coat of Seche Vite. The coats were very streaky and I tested these on my toes, without top coat to see how long they'd last, it took a day until it pretty much chipped on every toe. The holo made my camera go crazy of course and I noticed when I dented my ring finger it was very noticeable  The formula also thickened the more I used it which wasn't very fun! I'll give Holo a try again, but not in the near future.

Also, I wanted to see what this would look like with my Shimmer Polish (Which I picked up a few more of, WooHoo!) and I'm not sure how I feel about the nail art.

This is Elsa which I've used before. I used tape but I don't know, I guess it's just the color combination that I don't like.

You can find Shimmer Polish here.

What do you think?

Love from Leesha's Lacquer
