Pepperoni Pizza Nail Polish! - Leesha's Lacquer

Hey there everybun!
Long time no see!
Guess what I have for you all today? Some awesome, bitchin' pizza nails, that's what!

This is Pepperoni Pizza from my Foodie's Paradise Collection. It's a crelly that is opaque in 2 coats, but requires the dab and place method due to the large size of glitters. I put a BUTTLOAD of glitter in this, about 3 to 4 times more than normal, so there's tons of little pepperonis to go around.

My Foodie's Paradise Collection is available for pre-order NOW, in my shop.
Leesha's Lacquer is 5-free, Cruelty Free and Vegan. We offer both Full sizes ($7) and Minis ($3.50).
We also ship worldwide!
Thanks for stopping by everybun!

BinChic's Boutique's Thermal - The Trickster Swatch

Hey everybun!

I have a little update HERE regarding where I've been lately.
On that note, I have a new to me indie brand that has sent me four lovely polishes to test and review. Each polish will have its own post because they're just so beautiful!

Here is the first of four polishes called The Trickster.

In it's transmission from green to orange. In the sunlight, I actually think it looks more yellow!

The Trickster is an Orange to Green thermal polish that is Orange when cold and Green when warm. I used two thicker coats without top coat.

In the Warm state

In the Cold state!

I really love this polish as it was my first thermal and I was a little afraid that it wouldn't work on my acrylics, but SURPRISE! It did!

BinChic is 5- free, hailing from Camrose, Canada.
You can find The Trickster for $4.95 for Mini's and $7.42 for full size.

Find BinChic on FB
and at their Etsy Shop

Rainbow Skye Lacquer - Swatch and Review

Hey everybun!
I debated hard, whether or not to post these swatches today, because I'm sure none of you have ever heard of Rainbow Skye Lacquer and there's a very good reason for that!
Let me explain..
I'm a part of an awesome Indie Nail Polish making group on Facebook and with that, I'm also a part of their Indie polish exchange. Well, the group isn't JUST for indie polish makers, it's also for indie hobby makers who either only make polishes for themselves or for their family and friends.
I received 4 polishes from one of these types of makers, therefore NONE of these polishes are on the market and NONE have been released to the public.
Well then why post this polish you ask? BECAUSE THEY'RE AMAZING!
The owner of Rainbow Skye has said that she's been thinking of starting to offer her polishes to the public and hopefully this blog post will push her to do so!
So, let's begin with one of the polishes I received, which is very halloween-y!

Craft Show Tips for Indie Nail Polish and Cosmetic Companies

Hey everybun!
In an indie nail polish making group I'm a part of on Facebook, the question was asked if anyone had any tips for craft shows. I've done a total of four craft shows now, and while I'm by no means an expert, I feel like I have some knowledge worth sharing when it comes to being an indie nail polish maker in the craft show world.
There are plenty of guides for craft shows in general, including lists on what to bring, what to expect and even more lists on what you should bring and what you should expect.
The information in this is post is in regards to cosmetics and though I do speak a lot about nail polish, that doesn't mean I forgot about you soap, eye shadow and lipstick people!

                                          Ready...Set...
          Let's begin!

Guest Post - The Devil Wears Polish

This is the other post that did not get posted while I was away (angry! >_<)
I hope you all enjoy and thank you so much to the now, Devil Wears Polish , for this post!

~~~~
Hey peeps! I was excited to have the chance to write a guest post for Alicia, hope you enjoy! I’ve decided to use the opportunity to shamelessly promote my new polish venture! In just a few days Polished Dreams and Life Things blog and social accounts will become The Devil Wears Polish to promote my blog and new polish brand. No exact date, but I am planning to open my Etsy shop in early August and I’d like to show you some of the things that will be available. We shall start off with 2 of my crellies since they are so cute.  I plan to have a crelly trio listed, Get Your Pop Rocks Off will be one of those. Check it out yo…
I like dots if you can tell. Get Your Pop Rocks Off is a 3 coat yellow crelly with big teal and violet holo dots, small teal and light metallic green dots, and neon pink & green micro glitter. Just so I don’t have to repeat myself, all swatches in this post are 3 coats plus top coat. Get Your Pop Rocks Off is adorable. Next up I’ve got Girls Love To Blow…Bubbles. Isn’t that the best name ever? Credit goes out to my polish buddy Markie M aka Puzzle Polish, she also named Get Your Pop Rocks Off btw. Now let’s have a look see at my swatch…
I had to do a pink crelly. I’ve never been fond of the color, but that changed when I swatched Lacey by A Girl Obsessed. I’ve been loving all things pink since then. Girls Love To Blow…Bubbles has neon pink micro glitter mixed into the base, and you know I had to add some dots! We’ve got the same big dots that I used in GYPRO, with a few minor differences. There’s some teal squares and lots of fuchsia dots in 2 sizes, and I substituted pink matte hex for the light green dots. Now…I hope you’re drooling. If not, allow me to show you 2 jellies that will be available soon. First up is Merman Tracks, named by the hubs…
I had a hard time getting the lighting just right for this, but my swatch is dead-on color wise. Big teal holo dots and smaller teal dots float awesomely in a teal jelly base loaded with royal blue shimmer this is one of my favorite creations so far. I only used basecoat so I could demonstrate the colors, but I feel like this will be amazing with some teal or blue undies, maybe even white if you’re adventurous. Now let’s check out my favorite of all…her name is How’s Them Berries?
Obviously, I’ll have this and Merman Track duo sets listed on the shop. I had to make a purplish jelly because I am never quick enough to score Cosmic Forces. I wanted to recreate that look, while adding enough of my own uniqueness that it wouldn’t be considered a dupe. Me thinks me nailed it, and not to toot my own horn but, I love this one! I can’t wait to see how it looks over undies as well.
So there you have it folks, 4 of my yet-to-be released creations. Hope ya likey! I do J The Devil Wears Polish creations will range in price from $8.50-$9 depending on glitters used. I’ll also have a linear holo set, they’ll be available at $10 each or discounted rate for the whole collection. You can follow me on Facebook here for shop news, sneak peeks, and more. Now may I ask your opinions? Do you think I’m on the right track so far? What kind of polish collections would you want to see from me, more jellies and crellies? Feedback is appreciated, thanks for reading!
Leesha's Lacquer, Lacquer
Wonderful, Bunderful news!
I'm sure you all recall that a little over a month ago I started to dabble into the nail polish creating world. Well, I've decided to start selling my polishes!
I'll be announcing everything right here on my blog regarding my shop opening. The weeks leading up to the grand opening of my Etsy store I'll be hosting giveaways and my favorite, a competition to not only win some of my creations, but there will be other goody, goody prizes as well!
I've got a pretty fun line of glitters in my mind and some really cool holos I'd like to try out. There's so many things that you don't think matter when it comes to making nail polish but they do! Oh the stickers I must order and the little mixxy balls I need to keep in stock! It's a lot of work but I'm super excited to start sharing with you all my nail polish babies!
So just look forward to announcements in the coming weeks, I hope you're all as excited as I am!
Leesha's Lovely Lacquer
I must admit, I think I'm a tad bit addicted to making nail polish!
The Glitter! The Mica! The look of the bottle of polish after it's all shaken up!
*Swoon*
I think I may be suffering from something I've dubbed shakers elbow. It's when you shake up your nail polish to much and have a sore elbow the next day! Man, does it hurt, but it was SOOOO worth it!
Now here are my lovely children that are still, unfortunately, unnamed!
It's an atrocity! I don't even know what to refer my own creations too! Hopefully some bolt of amazing creativity hits me and I create the most awesome names you've ever heard of in your entire lives! I digress..now on to the swatches!
From left to right my cuticles go from icky to decent!
Anyways, the first polish (Starting with my pinky) is , of course, the one I first swatched so you've seen that before.
The second one, I'm not sure about, it's a blurple that shines at different angles with various white matte glitters. It's pretty and all but I still don't know how I feel about it..
The third one is blue squares with green, blue and pink micro glitters. It has a clear base and I quite like it, this was one-ish coat. I used the dab method for this so it's sort of difficult to say how many coats, but I'd guess it's about one-ish.
The last one I really like. It's green, blue and teal glitters suspended in a black tinted base. I reached full opacity in two coats and I'm quite sad that the pic above is so blurry! My camera just went crazy for it.
Each of these polishes were done over 2 coats of  Sinful Colors - Snow me White and topped with one coat of Seche Vite.
and here is each color individually!
Woohoo, you can CLEARLY see my canvas in all of these pics, SOOO not what I was going for but thats fine!
So whatcha guys think? Do you like my little creations?
Glitzy Sunday Bunday
Happy Sunday Bunday everyone!
Today is a monumental day. I have here in my hands my first ever swatch of nail polish that I have created. My first indie nail polish!
Drum roll please *badum badum badum* (at least that's how I imagine a drum roll to sound...)
As you can probably tell this is one coat with the base of China Glaze - Fancy Pants
1) because I was to lazy to take it off
and
2) because it actually looks nice under my polish!
I haven't named it yet so any suggestions are welcome!
and here are a few more pics!
This last pic is in low light and with the little mini bottle, it's so cute!
Speaking of cute...
Here's my little Harvey eating his hay. I literally just took this seconds ago and I told him to look cute so he posed.
Happy Sunday Bunday everyone!
