Bunday Reminder!

Hello everybun once again!

Here is a friendly reminder that my nail art competition ends tomorrow, July 1st at Midnight central time!

Thank you everybun who has sent in your entries so far!

Also since it's sunday bunday, here is the lovely paprika to model for you all!

I have discovered that Paprika absolutely LOVES nose rubs, being picked up and pretty much everything that Harvey does not.
She has gotten soooo much bigger!

Happy Sunday Bunday everybun!

Ellagee - Get Away from Her, you Bitch!

Ohmygoodness gracious hello Everybun!
Happy Sunday Bunday!

I am back, yes! I actually have a really bunderful polish for you all today from Laura, who is the wonderful creator of Ellagee. She sent me a lovely little bag of goodies to review, have a looky loo below..

As you can see I was sent three polishes to review and because these are all so very pretty I would like to dedicate a post for each polish!

And here is a closer look at the 3 polishes. Today we will, as the title suggests, be looking at *Get away from her, you bitch!

Get away from her, you bitch!
was inspired by the Alien movie series. It's a gorgeous green sheer jelly that GLOWS IN THE DARK! Here is her offi-shal description of it.

WOOOOOOO! GLOW IN THE DARK!
Of  course this was the first one I had to try!

I paired this with my Elf - no name green. GAFHYB! darkened it a little, since of course it is a jelly with a lovely sheer green tint. I used 2 coats of GAFHYB! to build up the pretty sparkle it has to it. Dry time was quick and the formula was a breeze to work with. I've never seen a glow in the dark with shimmery particles in it and you know what those shimmery particles do?!

They create a shimmery glow in the dark! Is that even possible?! I absolutely LOVE this polish because not only is it pretty in the light, it's pretty in the dark!
AND since this is a jelly, you know how many COOL jelly sammiches you could do with this?!

This polish as well as the rest will be released in early July as a part of the Science Fiction Double feature collection.
You can find Ellagee polishes here
She also has really cool nail polish rings as well as the newest trend of Thermal Polishes.
Ch-ch-check it out!

*This polish was sent to me to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

Feelin' Floral

Hello lovelies!
I'm back! I finally found inspiration the other day and was able to successfully redo my acrylic nails
I also found inspiration in doing something floral, and this was the result..

This is one of my favorite manis that I've done as of recent times! The base color is Zoya - Kelly and then I just grabbed for a buttload of other colors.

Lefty
Righty

I am having such a busy week this week. Monday I went to the MOA and seen Monster's University (awesome movie btw, it was very nostalgic!), Today I have a Fall Out Boy concert to go to (SQUEE!), Friday is our cities carnival/parade thingy, and Saturday is Fireworks!

I hope to get some nail work done with some lovely polishes that I was sent to review but don't expect to see too much nail art this week!

Fare thee well! Hope to be back to the swing of things next week!

P.S DON'T FORGET ABOUT MY NAIL ART COMPETITION FOUND HERE

Butter London - Fiver Swatch and Review

Hello all,

Today I have my first Butter London polish to show you! I got it from a blog sale (which I'm a complete sucker for!) that happened a while back and now I finally got around to swatching it.

The lovely, minty blue Fiver is a gorgeous creme dream. Application was butter smooth (aha, you see what I did there!). This was 3 thin coats, you could probably get away with 2 thicker ones.
This baby is all topped off with a shiny coat of seche.

So now I see what all of the hype about Butter London is! I love, love loved this polish and I'm so for hunting online for more!

Also as I looked online for more swatches and I see that Fiver looks generally much blue-r for others, but in my swatches it looks much paler. Its odd because this is really true to color in the picture and now I'm sitting here stumped, staring at my pretty minty nails wondering why some swatches are super blue and some a super pale! I guess that's what we get with different lighting and different screen resolutions!

Sally Hansen - Anemone of Mine and Zoya - Trixie Gradient

Hello lovelies!

I am back! Back with a beautiful, gorgeous gradient. Okay actually it isn't my best...the photos came out all blurry and the gradient didn't sponge that well but it's all I got at the moment. Hopefully you will think it's much prettier than I do!

The Purple is Sally Hansen - Anemone of Mine
The Silver is Zoya - Trixie

These new Sally Hansen bottles are soo pretty but the brushes are kind of wide which made for weird application. And as usual Zoya worked beautifully, even with my crappy sponging.

Sometimes I don't know what to say at the end of blog posts so I leave you with this terrible, awful joke.

This morning I tried to catch some fog, I mist.

Leesha's Lacquer - Mille Lacs Lake

DON'T FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAYS FOUND ON THE TOP RIGHT SIDEBAR!
Hello Everyone and Happy Friday!

Today I have another preview of a polish from my Native American Collection. All of the blogger review sample sets have been sent out! I'm excited and nervous, I'll post the links to the reviews as I get them.

Meanwhile here is Mille Lacs Lake.

This is 1 Coat of Mille Lacs Lake over 3 coats of Icing No Name Blue and no top coat.

Mille Lacs Lake is a mix of blue holo glitters with blue hexes, squares and tons of tiny blue glitters. Mille Lacs Lake was name after the Mille Lacs Lake Indian Reservation on Lake Mille Lakes in Minnesota. This is my reservation and a beautiful one it is indeed. The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe is my specific tribe, in case you're all wondering.

I thought this little bunny would look nice with Mille Lacs Lake and indeed he was very photographic!

For good measure I decided to make a Gif to show off all of the pretty glittery, holo goodness!

Of course Gifs are a bit grainy but surely this shows off the delicious, glittery, yumminess that Mille Lacs Lake offers!

Leesha's Lacquer Polishes will be on sale for $8.00 each in my Etsy shop very, very soon. I still don't have a set date yet for the release, but I am thinking some time at the end of July (which seems SOOOO far away!). By that time I will surely have my next collection all ready to go!

Unboxing of The Nail Stash - May 2013

Hello everybun, I'm doing something a little bit different today because I just received my first month of the nail polish subscription service, The Nail Stash. The Nail Stash has subscription services offered for 1 Month ($14.00), 3 Months ($39.00), 6 Months ($79.00) and 12 Months for ($150.00).
As a trial I decided to buy myself a 3 Month subscription to see how it goes.
Well their was a delay for this past months box so this is really an unboxing of the May 2013 box in June!
No matter for the delay, so here we go!

It was so hard for me to refrain myself from ripping this box to shreds and getting to the nail goodies, but I managed just for the sake of these pictures!

I really like the appearance of the boxes, the bright red theme is sure to catch your attention and its nice to look forward to getting that bright red box in the mail! I appreciate myself some nice packagin's!

It was nice to get this card (even if it didn't include every polish) that shows what you might get because look at it all! Can you REALLY get that many polishes/goodies?!

Tada!

These are the polishes and the goody that I received. I WAS however nervous to see that all of the polishes had sunk to the bottom of these little red crinkly worms and were just freely roaming around the box. Granted their is a layer of bubble wrap on the bottom but I had to dig to get these babies out. The caviar beads, in fact, were tangled in the little red crinkly worms!

From left to right the polishes are OPI - Happy Anniversary
The second one, after much research, I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is! It doesn't look like anything in the OPI I pronounce you... or the OPI Disney Oz Great & Powerful. Of course since it is a mini it doesn't have a name on it...,
Color Club - Endless Summer (which was not written on the card)
Nubar - Sparkle Me Up
 and Nubar -Forbidden Fruit

The last little guy, of course, is a caviar bead pot. If I don't use this, I think I'll save it for a future give away!

Overall I am happy with this month. I've never tried Nubar polishes and I always love me some Color Club! The OPI minis are meh for me because out of all the minis, OPI seems to have then miniest of minis. I wish I knew the second colors name though.

I'll do the unboxing for next months Nail Stash as well so look forward to that!

Zoya - Gie Gie Swatch and Review

Hello lovelies,

I have a simple swatch and review for you today of Zoya - Gie Gie!

Gie Gie is a beautiful pink creamy shimmer. Of course application was smooth as butter as is usual with Zoya  polishes. This is 3 coats with Seche Vite top coat.

I love this ballerina pink. Its a lovely, lovely shade and with my now 300+ polishes, I was surprised that I didn't have any pink like this (60+ of my polishes are pink). I love pink and this is seriously one of my favorites as of now!
From the smooth and perfect application to the pretty, pretty color this is definitely a go!

Nail Art Competition!

Hello lovely readers,

GUESS WHAT I HAVE FOR YOU!

A competition! A Nail Art Competition!

And the theme for this competition is...

Something that you are inspired by. Whether it is your mother or your father or the most BEAUTIFUL pattern that you've ever seen. It could be a movie or a book or your favorite place to think.

Da Rules
* The nail art HAS to be your own. Blog watermarks are definitely allowed and encouraged. I really like what Sophie did over at MyAwesomeBeauty So I will do the same. Take a picture of yourself with my name Alicia  on a piece of paper with your nail art that you've created in the picture (don't worry, these pictures are FMEO! No one else will see them). This is to insure that the nail art that you've done is in fact your own.
Take Exhibit A (haha, A for ALICIA) In the Sample image below
Exhibit A
* You need to show what you were inspired by. If it was a dress, show the dress! If it was a person, Show the person! If its a family member and they don't want to be shown, a description will do too. Just show me the thing that inspired your beautiful, beautiful nail art!

*Please, Please PLEASE! Take a nice picture! Clean up around your cuticles and be sure to not have your toilet or your dirty clothes in the background. Maybe take your picture outside with the pretty grass in the background or against a pretty fabric that you like, maybe even the thing that you were inspired by! The image has to be at least 700px wide. I don't want your images to be all weird and distorted if they are too small! If they are bigger that is fine as well.

*This competition is open internationally and for everyone of every age!

*One entry per person
*The competition ends July 1st at midnight. You have all of July 1st to finish your beautiful manis! (Central Time)

And the judges for your lovely entries will be
Myself
and Tiana, who is my cousin

There is a wide variety of judges, myself and Lisa who are from the polish community and Tiana who is not so I believe the panel is fair.

Da Prizes

There will be one winner. The prizes include 1 full sized polish from my Native American Collection and 1 mini.

Speaking of the collection, TADA!

Leesha's Lacquer Polishes will be coming soon to an etsy shop near you! The polishes will be on sale for $8.00 (but remember to watch for the grand opening sale!). There are 5 of each polishes in the collection (5 mille lacs lake, 5 four directions, etc) so they ARE a bit of a limited edition.

and last but not least....

SEND ALL OF YOUR ENTRIES TO : Cellphonegirl88@yahoo.com

Rosey Posies

Hello everybun! Happy Sunday Bunday!

For todays Sunday Bunday I don't have any buns but I do have some pretty roses that were inspired from Work Play Polish!

BTW I've changed my watermark and I'm doing better with my photographing and stuff, so I hope my images are looking a little bit better.

The pink flower was my favorite, but my pointer finger got smudged with the red and I didn't have time to fix it so not I think it looks blah :(

Speaking of the colors, this is
Julie G - Hot Cinnamon
Julie G - Crushed Candy
China Glaze - In the Rough

Of course WPP did much better but I love this design so much I will definitely try it out again!

The Black I used was Zoya - Raven. BEST BLACK I'VE EVER USED IN MY LIFE!

I had to take pictures of it alone just because it was so beautiful!

There's a super pretty slight grey shimmer that you can only see when you examine it closely and the formula was as smooth as butter. I almost don't want to use it until I get a back up bottle because it's honestly the best black I've ever used!

Love from Leesha's Lacquer
