OPI - Alcatraz Rocks and NEW CAMERA!

Hey everyone!
If you've checked my Facebook recently you would have seen the adorable picture of the buns. You also would have heard that I got a brand new Nikon D3200. These are some of the first nail shots I've gotten with them and I feel that this polish was a perfect first test shot. All of that texture really helped me work out the settings and I am in LOVE with the quality of the pictures!

I'm not sure how ya'll feel about the bigger picture size but with all of the details that the camera captured , I might have to go back to the bigger size!
Anyways, enough about the camera, let's get to the polish! This is OPI - Alcatraz Rocks, a textured Blurple that was a part of OPI's San Francisco Collection. I love the rainbowy multi-faceted look that this polish gives off. The texture is wonderful as well, it's not too rough and I noticed with 3 days of wear the texture actually wears down quite a bit.

Over all, This polish is on key for every day or even special occasions. I'm also super happy with the current quality of my pictures... now, to redo the blog to a quality that I'd like!

P.S, Have the cutie bun pic that I was talking about at the top of this post!

  2. Thank you! I'm still not over the details in these pics! I'm really not a camera expert either so I couldn't even begin to suggest one!

  3. Gorgeous! I like the bigger size actually. I am one of those people who never clicks for a bigger pic, so I like to see it as big as possible while doing as little as possible!

  4. I like the bigger size as well! The only reason I ever stopped using the large size was because I'm usually using my ipad to view my blog, but one day I used my laptop and holy crap was the image larger than I expected!
